The CVFD has lost long time retired member Richard Fitts Sr. An active member for 26 years, Dick served the town with pride and distinction from 1974 to 2000. During his tenure with the department, he served as an Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Department Treasurer for nine years from 1977-1986 and was a charter member and past president of Candia Rescue (before it's merger with the Fire Department).
