The CVFD is pleased to have recently taken delivery and put into service it's new 2015 Ford F550 light rescue built by EVI. The new truck has seating for 5 firefighters, 7 equipment compartments including a climate controlled medical compartment and ability to operate at the ALS/paramedic level.  Additional features include an 8,000 watt hydraulic generator, a 6,000 watt roof mounted light tower, two portable quartz tripod flood lights and full complement of hydraulic extrication tools.

The new apparatus replaces a 1996 Chevrolet box van which has served the department faithfully for approximately 20 years.
